Workation
Relocate your home office to a place with guaranteed sea breezes or mountain air: With us, you can work from abroad worldwide for up to 120 days a year. Within the EU, you can spend up to 60 consecutive calendar days working from a location of your choice – and up to 30 days outside the EU. So you can extend your vacation or visit family and friends far away. Mental health and a good work-life balance are important to us. For this reason, work and vacation are not opposites at TIMOCOM - we combine both. During your workation you are automatically covered by travel insurance, because your health is important to us!
Workation with colleagues? Why not?
Enver spent his workation in Portugal together with colleagues:
“Surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the relaxed atmosphere of a finca, our team — made up of colleagues from different departments — didn’t just work on exciting projects. We also played padel together, enjoyed delicious BBQ evenings, explored the Algarve, and had an amazing time.
When people think of a workation, they often picture idyllic beaches and productive workdays under palm trees. But what happens when adventure calls in the form of a car breakdown in the middle of rural Portugal? That’s when we realized that true teamwork goes far beyond calls and to-do lists — it’s about finding solutions together, whether on the court or by the roadside.”
Sarah in Ibiza
Sarah did her workation in Ibiza and shares her experience with us:
“Workation gave me the chance to start summer a little earlier. By combining vacation and workation, I was able to extend my stay in Ibiza, which gave me the opportunity to really get to know the island. After a short morning walk with my dog along the beach, I started work each day feeling energized and in a great mood. In the evenings, I could watch the sunset and enjoy some tapas.
I never felt like I was missing out on anything, because after work there was still plenty of time to soak up the beautiful weather and the island’s unique atmosphere. For me, this is an absolute must-have every year from now on – and thanks to flexible working hours and up to 120 days of workation per year, it’s no problem at TIMOCOM!”
Yasin enjoying his workation at the Black Sea
Yasin loves to spend his workation in Turkey:
“Being able to work from Turkey as part of a workation didn’t just allow me to connect my family roots with my professional life — it also helped me strengthen relationships with customers in the region. The direct exchange with local business partners opened up new perspectives and enriched my work. I really value that TIMOCOM supports flexible working models, creating space for both personal growth and new business opportunities.”
