General Management at TIMOCOM
Every single TIMO is a valuable member of our team that contributes to our company’s success. In General Management, we draw on the varied expertise and experience offered by each individual team to optimally support Tim and Sebastian, our Managing Directors. We are also the gateway to all other departments, so we have the opportunity to get to know individual TIMOs and what they do. This keeps our work varied and gives us the opportunity to help our company develop and grow. We work together, respect each other and enjoy our jobs, so each team is well prepared for anything the day might bring. Strategic Project Management, Assistants, Office Management and Company Spokesman work together with Tim and Sebastian to implement new ideas and projects and achieve the best possible results. We work to discover innovative solutions that achieve small and large successes each and every day.

We offer individual coaching sessions, seminars of varying lengths and even full on courses of study: our comprehensive professional development catalogue has plenty of options for you to explore. Our language courses
We offer language courses for all our employees: you can take the opportunity to improve your German or English, so you can improve communication with your colleagues in both Germany and Europe. You can select between online courses and courses at a language school in Düsseldorf, or you can work with our in-house language teacher.
Our company podcast
We learn together – in addition to uGROW and lernOS, everyone is invited to contribute to our company podcast. The TIMO-Cast discusses a variety of subjects, allowing all TIMOs the opportunity to learn more about areas of expertise within the company, gain new insights, or actively share their knowledge in the form of interviews. A new episode is released each month – by and for TIMOs, with subjects including agility, innovation, market developments and Logistics 4.0.

FAQ on applying and onboarding
- Application: We recommend applying using our online application tool. You can find the link in every job post. We only need your contact information and your resume – no need to write a cover letter.
- Interview: We want to get to know you in person. After an initial phone interview, you will speak to your prospective department and our recruiters; the atmosphere is relaxed, and we will discuss expectations, what you want from the position, framework conditions and so on. Of course there will be plenty of time for you to ask questions.
- Meeting day: Is the chemistry right? You will have a chance to get to know the people you will be working with. There might be a small work task waiting to help you warm up. The duration of the meeting day varies and depends on the position to be filled. The schedule will be customised to suit you and the job you are applying for.
- Decision: Afterwards you will have time to review your impressions of the company and we will take some time to consider your application. In just a few days, we will get back to you, hopefully to discuss your onboarding process as a new TIMO.

Onboarding will be customised to suit you and your position, and structured based on company guidelines. You will be assigned a buddy to help you through the process: a TIMO who is doing an apprenticeship or work-based degree with us, ready to help you if you have any questions, work related or otherwise.
